Here’s an excerpt of a letter Qin would have to read as an intern.

Dear Bolin,

…I heard about your loss in the probending arena.  I must say that I am surprised, considering the skill that you displayed against the Equalists. I’m sure, however that your losing streak will be short-lived…I will be in Republic City shortly (I might get there before you get this letter) and I would love to you for drinks.  I hope you don’t mind that I won’t be drinking that much, since I will primarily be in the city on business.
